I'm so bad at keeping an up-to-date journal. Here's what's goin down this summer:
-Work: I'm working at a vegetable farm, mostly picking peas O.O
-Intellectual Project: Becoming bilingual. I want to be bilingual, because it makes you a more well-rounded person, no? despite being impractical, I chose to learn Scottish Gaelic because it is part of my heritage.
-Art Projects (3): The first, producing more comic pages, or trying to. I have low stick-to-it-ive-ness where narratives are concerned, so it's a good challenge.
The second, a large charcoal drawing to be donated to the New York State Falconry Association for their fundraising raffle in November. It's a big year for NYSFA, being the 35th anniversary of the club and the year we hopefully delist the peregrine and make eagles available.
The last is an ongoing interest I haven't been able to do much with. I've wanted for a while now to learn taxidermy and techniques for bone-craft jewelry and casting of replica skulls, but haven't come across a great deal of information on the subject. I at once would like to ask fellow artists for advice and am nervous about it. I understand it is a competitive market, and know that those already established in it might not appreciate a noob stumbling around. XD
